Pipe Descaling and Blockage Removal

-When we recommend pipe de scaling is in old cast iron or galvanized pipes ranging in size from 1.25 inch all the way up to 6 inch.

-What is pipe descaling ? Pipe descaling is where we use a combination of a high speed chain system to grind all the rust off the walls of the pipe, a camera to be able to target spots that are worse than others, and a hydro jet to either push all of the “scale” broken up rust out or pull it back to the access point we are working from.

-Blockage removal is where we use a combination of the high speed chains and the camera to target one certain area of the pipe that is causing problems.

-In the video we were called out to a job that would routinely back up every three months for 5 years. After clearing the line we did a free camera inspection and found the underlying problem. Tree roots 45 feet out from the access point we used our chain system to target this section of roots.
